Project Aware : Give Sharks a Chance

At the moment I’m very lucky to be participating as a translator at the PADI Course Director Training Course in Sabah, Malaysia, learning huge amounts from some of the world’s most experienced diving educators including 42 soon to be Course Directors.  An amazing experience.

On Friday we had a presentation and workshop about Project Aware, the global environmental marine protection foundation that PADI supports.  Project Aware is placing a new emphasis and focus on the plight of eight shark species that are in serious danger.  If you care about the marine environment and the future of the world’s oceans as a diver we urge you in the strongest way possible to sign the petition online.    It will only take two minutes of your time and you will have taken a positive and tangible action to help.  Please do so!

Diver Magazine feature, February issue
